Sales Supervisor – Dodoma

About the role

The Sales Supervisor will lead sales initiatives across the Dodoma territory, driving growth for key product categories within the FMCG sector. This role combines strategic market development, key account management, and team leadership to achieve ambitious sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve overall sales targets and drive growth across key product categories within the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and revenue.
• Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Manage and develop relationships with key accounts and strategic customers, providing support and coaching.
• Identify opportunities for business expansion and resolve customer concerns to maintain high satisfaction.
• Lead market penetration initiatives in weak or under‑performing territories and increase product distribution and visibility.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.
• Drive new product launches and promotional campaigns within the territory.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team, conducting performance reviews and coaching.
• Build a high‑performance culture through effective team engagement and development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
• Monitor channel pricing structures, collect market feedback, and recommend actions to improve competitiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the FMCG industry with a proven track record in managing key accounts and driving business growth.
• Experience developing new markets, turning around under‑performing territories, and executing product launches and promotional activities.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and ownership; self‑driven and able to work under pressure.
