Regional Trainer

About the role

The Regional Trainer will design, develop and deliver a comprehensive training programme for d.light’s sales and service teams across the region. The role focuses on improving performance, customer satisfaction and aligning training with d.light’s mission and core values.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular training needs analyses to identify cost‑effective solutions for sales and service centre teams.
• Collaborate with the National Training Manager and Regional Business Manager to set priorities and create a rolling 6‑month training calendar.
• Design, develop and produce training materials, manuals and documentation ensuring consistency and quality.
• Provide coaching, facilitate classroom‑based sessions and support the induction of new regional team members.
• Evaluate and update training tools to maximise impact and track KPIs such as total training hours and penetration rate.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in sales or marketing training.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or a related field from a reputable university.
• Proven experience designing, delivering and evaluating training programmes.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills in both Swahili and English.
• Strong relationship‑building abilities and a flexible, adaptable approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications – PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
