Pricing & Product Head

About the role

We are supporting a well‑established diversified group in hiring an experienced Pricing & Product Head to lead its group‑wide pricing strategy, product governance and margin protection initiatives. The role will be responsible for developing and governing pricing policies, establishing margin and pricing frameworks, and ensuring that product decisions are driven by customer lifetime value (CLV), retention and commercial profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and govern the Group Pricing Policy, pricing frameworks, margin floors and discount authority.
• Build and manage pricing models across different business units and commercial models.
• Lead pricing governance, including pricing committees, exceptions and below‑floor deals.
• Develop product policies focused on CLV, customer retention and profitability.
• Review pricing performance, margin leakage, product mix and commercial performance.
• Partner closely with Finance, Commercial, Data and Product teams.
• Support and train business units on pricing policies and commercial decision‑making.
• Use AI and analytics tools for pricing scenarios, modelling, policy development and margin analysis.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Pricing Strategy, Commercial Finance, Product Management or Portfolio Management.
• Strong experience developing pricing governance, margin‑floor or commercial frameworks.
• Exposure to multiple business models such as distribution, franchise, services, leasing/assets, financial services or platform businesses.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Commerce or Engineering.
• CPA, ACCA, CFA or pricing certification is an advantage; MBA is also an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management with the confidence to work with senior leadership and executive committees.
