Quantity Surveyor – Road Projects

About the role

This on‑site, full‑time position is for a Quantity Surveyor specialized in road projects. Based in Moshi, you will work closely with the project team to ensure accurate cost estimation, control, and reporting throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for road infrastructure works.
• Monitor project expenditures and implement cost‑control measures.
• Plan and forecast project costs, updating budgets as needed.
• Produce regular cost reports and financial statements for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and procurement teams to maintain financial compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience preparing BOQs and managing costs on road construction projects.
• Familiarity with international infrastructure standards is an advantage.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
