Project Driver & Operations Assistant

About the role

The Project Driver & Operations Assistant provides safe, reliable transportation and supports administrative and logistical functions to ensure efficient project implementation and office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Plan vehicles, manage fuel and vehicle logbooks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Support planning and delivery of project activities, including meetings, trainings, workshops and community engagements.
• Handle administrative tasks such as record management, documentation, stakeholder service and basic financial reconciliation.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance, and ensure staff and property safety.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum three years of professional driving experience with an NGO or similar organization.
• Valid Tanzanian Class C (or higher) driving licence and defensive driving certification.
• Clean driving record and knowledge of road safety regulations.

Required skills
