Program Start‑up Advisor (One‑Month Consulting)

About the role

Jhpiego is seeking a Program Start‑up Advisor to support the launch of a donor‑funded health project in Tanzania. This one‑month consulting assignment will work closely with Jhpiego’s start‑up team and global partners to ensure the project’s start‑up plan is executed on schedule and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Jhpiego’s start‑up and global teams to track and advance the project start‑up plan.
• Initiate and manage start‑up activities as defined in the project plan.
• Develop high‑quality workplans, budgets, and a project charter aligned with program strategy.
• Provide responsive support to the country and project teams, adapting processes as needs evolve.
• Participate in start‑up meetings and deliver feedback on deliverables to the global team.

Required profile

• Experience in health program implementation or technical assistance.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Flexibility to adapt processes to shifting priorities.
