Owner – Executive Leadership Role

About the role

The Owner is a full‑time, on‑site executive responsible for setting the strategic direction and overall performance of Mineral Access Systems Tanzania Limited. Based in Dar es Salaam, the role leads all aspects of mine development, from exploration to processing, and integrates testing lab and crushing plant capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s strategic plan for mineral exploration, engineering, and processing.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including high‑level financial and operational decisions.
• Manage partnerships with local and international mineral suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in Tanzania and abroad.
• Represent the company with investors, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Provide support and mentorship to medium and small‑scale miners.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and strategic management experience in complex mining or commodities operations.
• Deep knowledge of battery‑critical minerals such as nickel, copper, lithium, cobalt, and graphite.
• Strong financial management, budgeting, and investment decision‑making skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation abilities.
• Understanding of logistics, supply‑chain, and quality‑control processes.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Business Administration, Finance or related field; significant executive experience preferred.
