Nurse – Hematology Clinic (Dar es Salaam)

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate and competent Nurse to join our hematology clinic in Dar es Salaam. The role involves supporting patient care, assisting with diagnostic and treatment procedures, and ensuring safe clinical operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing hematology consultations, treatments, and follow‑up.
• Assist clinicians with procedures such as blood collection, transfusion preparation, and patient monitoring.
• Handle, label, and document laboratory specimens accurately.
• Monitor patient vital signs and promptly report any changes to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and support continuity of care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medication use, and follow‑up requirements.
• Uphold infection prevention and control standards within the clinic.

Required profile

• Diploma in nursing from a recognized institution.
• Valid nursing license registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council.
• Experience in hematology, laboratory, oncology, or medical clinic settings (preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with clinicians and laboratory teams.
• Based in Dar es Salaam or willing to relocate.
