Medical Sales Representative – Tanzania

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Medical Sales Representative to promote Medochemie’s pharmaceutical portfolio across Tanzania. You will be the primary link between the company and healthcare professionals, driving product awareness and sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular visits to healthcare professionals and key customers to promote the company's pharmaceutical products.
• Maintain and grow existing business while introducing new products and services.
• Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Organise and participate in medical conferences, scientific meetings, exhibitions, and promotional events.
• Resolve customer enquiries and issues promptly, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Implement agreed marketing and promotional activities in line with the country promotional plan.
• Monitor, track, and follow up on customer orders to ensure timely fulfilment and satisfaction.
• Manage issues from key accounts by investigating concerns and providing appropriate solutions.
• Maintain accurate records and submit timely reports on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three years' experience in pharmaceutical sales, medical promotion, or a similar role.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and report‑writing abilities.
• Strong networking and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Well‑developed planning and organisational skills.
• Proactive, customer‑focused, and solution‑oriented approach.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good commercial awareness and business acumen.
