Junior Green Coffee Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Junior Green Coffee Marketing Specialist will support the promotion of our premium Arabica and Robusta green coffee beans. Working part‑time in a hybrid setting from Dar es Salaam, you will assist the marketing team in research, buyer engagement and the preparation of sales materials.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and gather buyer requirements for green coffee.
• Analyse trends in Arabica and Robusta coffee markets.
• Prepare and update marketing collateral and product information.
• Support sales outreach to regional and international buyers.
• Maintain accurate records of customer inquiries, feedback and lead follow‑up.
• Coordinate sample shipments and ensure timely communication with customers and partners.
• Monitor competitor activity and assist with basic digital marketing initiatives.
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement of marketing strategies.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to conduct market research and support marketing strategy.
• Basic understanding of sales processes and lead management.
• Interest or experience in agricultural commodities, coffee supply chains or export markets.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; Swahili is a plus.
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a part‑time hybrid setting.
• Comfort with basic digital tools; familiarity with simple marketing or CRM tools is advantageous.
• Relevant coursework or a diploma/degree in Marketing, Business, Agriculture or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
