IT Manager – Full Time

About the role

The organization seeks an experienced IT Manager to lead its healthcare technology operations. You will act as the primary liaison between hospital departments, remote clinics, the management company, and executive leadership, ensuring that IT systems support clinical practice efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the IT Support Specialist team, ensuring tickets are resolved within SLA.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all hospital and remote clinic IT needs, coordinating with the management company and health system.
• Lead design, implementation, and optimization of EMR workflows, recommending enhancements for efficiency, safety, and documentation quality.
• Manage clinical technology and informatics projects from planning through post‑go‑live optimization, developing project plans, budgets, and timelines.
• Identify and implement system optimization and workflow improvements, monitoring usage and performance metrics.
• Develop, design, and maintain clinical and operational dashboards using EMR reporting modules, data warehouses, and BI platforms.
• Conduct periodic security risk assessments, including vulnerability and penetration testing, to ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading IT support teams in a healthcare environment.
• Strong background with EMR systems and workflow optimization.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards such as CMS, Joint Commission, SOX, and state requirements.
• Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to collaborate with clinical, operational, and quality leaders to translate needs into technical solutions.
