Information Technology Executive

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing construction materials supplier in Tanzania, is looking for a proactive Information Technology Executive to keep systems running smoothly and support business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to users, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, printers and other IT equipment.
• Monitor and maintain the company’s network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
• Support ERP, inventory management and other business applications.
• Perform routine system maintenance, software updates and data backups.
• Assist with IT projects and system upgrades.
• Maintain IT asset records and manage inventory.
• Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers as needed.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and cybersecurity best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration or a similar role.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
