Impact Team Lead – East Africa

About the role

CleanHub is seeking an Impact Team Lead to manage waste‑management projects across Tanzania, Egypt and Indonesia. The role is full‑time, based in Tanzania, and involves coordinating partnerships, ensuring social compliance and implementing track‑and‑trace processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage partnerships with waste‑management organisations in Tanzania, Egypt and Indonesia.
• Coordinate waste‑collection processes and social‑compliance to meet CleanHub standards.
• Design and implement track‑and‑trace processes for projects.
• Liaise with brand customers for site visits and communicate partner updates to the CleanHub team.
• Travel to project sites as needed (travel expenses covered).

Required profile

• Fluent English and Swahili communication skills.
• Reside in Tanzania with ability to travel locally.
• 3‑4 years of relevant experience in project coordination, sustainability, community/field work or related areas.
• Proactive, independent problem‑solver with attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with a remote, multicultural team and stable internet connection.
