ICT Manager

About the role

The ICT Manager will lead the technology strategy for our client, ensuring alignment with governance, risk, compliance and security objectives. The role oversees all IT operations, service delivery, and the implementation of robust security standards across the lottery and general business systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall ICT vision, standards and strategic objectives for GRC and IT operations.
• Manage all IT service providers, vendors and suppliers, ensuring SLA compliance and effective coordination.
• Direct the development, implementation and maintenance of infrastructure (servers, storage, backups, desktops, networks, operating systems) and data‑centre operations.
• Oversee software management including MIS, application support, development, and MI/BI reporting.
• Implement and maintain ICT governance, compliance and information security frameworks (ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL, ITSM).
• Develop and enforce information‑security standards for lottery data, accounting, payroll and other critical systems.
• Conduct periodic security reviews, audits, logical access management and firewall changes.
• Lead security investigations, awareness training and data‑destruction policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading ICT strategy, governance and security for complex organisations.
• Strong background in managing third‑party service providers and ensuring service‑level compliance.
• Deep knowledge of ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL and ITSM best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure management, data‑centre operations and business‑intelligence reporting.
