About the role
The company is looking for a proactive Human Resources Officer to support HR operations and employee engagement in Arusha, Tanzania. The role will involve a mix of recruitment, employee relations, performance management and administrative duties.
Key responsibilities
- Support recruitment, onboarding and employee orientation processes.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Handle employee relations matters and promote workplace engagement.
- Coordinate performance management and staff development activities.
- Support payroll coordination, leave management and attendance tracking.
- Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labour laws and internal HR practices.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR administration or human resource management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Tanzanian labour laws and HR practices.
- Highly organized, professional and detail‑oriented.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters.
