Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead all HR functions for RAS LOGISTICS (T) LTD in Dar es Salaam, ensuring the workforce supports the company’s fast‑paced logistics operations across Tanzania and the region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations.
• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies in line with Tanzanian labour legislation.
• Partner with senior management to plan workforce needs aligned with logistics activities.
• Coordinate training and development programmes and manage benefits administration.
• Handle payroll‑related HR inputs, disciplinary actions and grievance processes fairly and consistently.
• Maintain accurate HR records, reports and data for decision‑making.
• Support organisational change initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment, onboarding and talent management within a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong background in performance management, employee relations and conflict resolution.
• In‑depth knowledge of HR policies, Tanzanian labour laws and compliance requirements.
• Ability to design and coordinate training, development and workforce planning initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field; HR certification is a plus.
• Previous HR management experience, preferably in logistics, transportation or a similar industry.
