Finance and Administration Officer – East Africa

About the role

The Finance and Administration Officer will oversee the financial, procurement, logistics and administrative functions for our operations in East Africa. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, efficient procurement processes, compliance with regulations and smooth day‑to‑day office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Post financial transactions, prepare and present monthly management accounts, monitor cash flow and perform reconciliations.
• Process payments via online banking platforms and maintain accurate financial records.
• Participate in procurement planning, vendor selection, inventory monitoring and coordinate import/export documentation.
• Manage logistics to ensure timely delivery of equipment and supplies, and maintain vendor relationships.
• Oversee office administration, asset management, facilities and external service providers.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory reporting, corporate governance and support internal/external audits.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, monitor expenditures and propose risk mitigation measures.
