Distributor Relationship Manager – Seed & Crop Protection

About the role

The Distributor Relationship Management role at Bayer focuses on building strong partnerships with key dealers to ensure product availability for smallholder farmers. You will drive sales of Bayer seed and crop protection products, support dealer performance, and contribute to regional business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the customer‑facing squad and provide administrative leadership.
• Jointly manage the regional P&L and achieve 90‑day sales targets.
• Deliver accurate short‑ and mid‑term forecasts to secure seed availability.
• Manage full‑account relationships with key dealers and generate orders.
• Develop and execute annual regional sales and marketing plans.
• Identify business opportunities, market gaps, and competitor activities.
• Monitor partnership activation plans, training, and marketing campaigns.
• Lead new product launches and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Agriculture and/or Business.
• At least four years of relevant experience in crop agronomy, seeds, or pest‑control practices.
• Proven sales experience with seed or crop‑protection products and strong dealer relationships.
• Solid agricultural knowledge and understanding of local market environments.

Required skills

• Knowledge of seed and crop‑protection products.
• Experience managing dealer relationships and order generation.
• Ability to produce accurate sales forecasts.
