Customer Service Officer – Data Entry & Banking Support

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Officer to support the Business Center of a global charitable organization. The role blends accurate data entry, banking operations, petty‑cash management and front‑line customer assistance to ensure smooth service delivery for vulnerable clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accurate data entry and supervise mobile/ATM registration processes.
• Handle banking activities: register payments, issue receipts, initiate cheque payments, perform bank reconciliations and manage disbursement documentation.
• Manage petty‑cash reimbursements, cash and cheque payments, and purchase of office supplies.
• Respond to customer inquiries, promote savings products, guide customers to appropriate channels and monitor ATM usage.
• Prepare and submit reports on ATM issues, missing clients, and asset losses.
• Mobilise and market savings accounts, open new accounts and ensure KYC compliance.
• Maintain custody of loan collaterals, client documents, parcels and business‑center stationery; compile complaints for the Call Centre Manager.

Required profile

• Degree holder in Accounting.
• Clear understanding of data‑entry processes and related technology.
• Strong knowledge of handling financial information.
• Good analytical abilities and attention to detail.
