Corporate Sales Representative

About the role

The Corporate Sales Representative will generate new business for Cartrack Tanzania by prospecting, cold‑calling and nurturing leads from business sources and existing clients. The role focuses on promoting Cartrack’s fleet tracking solutions, achieving monthly sales targets and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling and follow‑up of leads/referrals.
• Provide product information and advice to customers.
• Achieve monthly sales targets.
• Communicate professionally via phone, email, letters and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Keep accurate records of customer interactions.
• Analyse data to assess customer satisfaction with Cartrack products and services.
• Prepare written information and presentations for clients.
• Stay updated on Cartrack Tanzania products, services and company updates.
• Build and maintain relationships with business sources and existing clients.
• Conduct product presentations and training for clients and business sources.
• Undertake marketing and brand awareness activities.
• Monitor lead quality, SLA compliance and application processes.
• Report daily activities to manager/supervisor.
• Administer commissions payable to business sources.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in B2B or corporate sales.
• Strong business acumen and customer‑relation focus.
• Experience in fleet tracking/management is a plus.
• Target‑driven with ability to develop new business.
• Solution‑oriented with strong negotiation skills.
• Good planning and organizational abilities with solid administrative skills.
• High emotional intelligence.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using CRM systems.
