Communications, Sustainability and Responsibility Manager

About the role

The Communications, Sustainability and Responsibility Manager will support the Corporate Relations Director in shaping and delivering both internal and external communication strategies. The role also leads the implementation of EABL’s Sustainability Strategy, "Spirit of Progress," showcasing its impact on communities and the broader economy.

Key responsibilities

• Administer all internal communications across business units, including newsletters, organisational updates and staff engagement initiatives.
• Design and execute engaging communication campaigns such as town‑hall meetings, themed weeks and symbolic rituals to keep internal messaging fresh.
• Collaborate with the Top Management Team to ensure a unified "One Voice" approach and coordinate with departments for consistent information flow.
• Lead corporate communications and public‑relations planning, monitor external reputation, and respond to opportunities or threats.
• Create and manage content for online and social‑media channels, and oversee PR agency contracts to deliver agreed workstreams.
• Strategise and implement the three pillars of the "Spirit of Progress" sustainability programme, measuring and reporting its social‑economic impact.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate communications and sustainability initiatives.
• Excellent writing and editing skills for newsletters, updates and external releases.
• Ability to work closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple communication channels and projects.
