About the role
The Commercial Sales Manager will lead revenue growth and market expansion for our FMCG portfolio, focusing on dairy and milling products in Tanzania and across Africa. The role combines strategic planning, export development, and team leadership to achieve sustainable sales performance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial sales strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
- Manage and expand market presence within dairy and milling product categories.
- Identify, develop, and open new export markets, establishing distribution channels.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate sales teams to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Monitor KPIs, analyze sales data, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Build and maintain key customer relationships, partnerships, and distribution networks.
- Collaborate with marketing, production, and finance to ensure commercial alignment.
- Negotiate contracts, tenders, and trade agreements while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of commercial sales experience in FMCG, preferably dairy and milling.
- Proven export sales and business development track record.
- Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical abilities.
- Experience in African markets is highly advantageous.

- Advanced Excel and data analysis tools.
