Business Development Executive – HDPE Pipes (Tanzania)

About the role

The Business Development Executive will lead the growth of HDPE pipe sales across Tanzania. You will work closely with contractors, engineers, developers and project managers to turn market opportunities into revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth for HDPE pipes in the Tanzanian market.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with contractors, engineers, developers and project managers.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and convert leads into contracts.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, pitches and proposals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and product innovations.
• Provide technical consultation on pipe selection, installation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to address client concerns.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and maintain accurate CRM records.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in construction materials.
• Graduate degree in any discipline.
• Strong understanding of HDPE pipe applications and engineering concepts.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage client relationships.
