Vice President Global Brand Communication & Partnerships

About the role

PUMA is looking for an experienced and visionary senior leader to own the global communications agenda, covering PR, entertainment, influencer marketing, collaborations and social media. Reporting to senior executive leadership, the role will shape the brand narrative, strengthen cultural relevance and ensure consistent storytelling across all markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the global PR, communications and social media vision and strategy, ensuring a unified brand voice.
• Establish a long‑term roadmap for priority social platforms, driving innovation, audience engagement and business impact.
• Set global standards, governance frameworks and operating models for local PR and social activation.
• Own entertainment, partnership, collaboration and influencer strategies, building a global ambassador ecosystem.
• Build and scale an integrated global influencer and creator ecosystem to enhance brand credibility.
• Lead the development of flagship global brand experiences and events in partnership with brand and category leadership.
• Drive earned media strategy, identifying opportunities to boost reputation, visibility and cultural influence.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on communications, reputation management and emerging trends.
• Oversee global agency partnerships, investment strategies and resource allocation.
• Establish performance frameworks, KPIs and governance processes, leveraging data and insights.
• Build and lead a high‑performing global team, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in PR, communications, social media, brand marketing or related fields.
• Proven ability to shape global brand narratives and drive cultural relevance.
• Experience working with senior executive teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking, reputation management and trend‑spotting capabilities.
