Tax Professional

About the role

RSM Tanzania is seeking a Tax Professional to join its on‑site team. You will support corporate and individual clients by preparing, reviewing and filing tax returns while ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns, computations and reports for corporate and individual clients.
• Conduct tax research and analyze financial information to identify planning opportunities.
• Support clients during tax audits or regulatory reviews.
• Collaborate with assurance and consulting teams to deliver integrated client services.
• Contribute to advisory projects and develop practical tax solutions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of tax legislation and share insights internally.
• Assist in continuous improvement of tax processes and methodologies.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics or a related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA) or progress toward certification is an advantage.
• Prior experience in tax, audit or advisory services, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines and work in a structured on‑site environment.
