Talent Acquisition Associate

About the role

Axia Tanzania, a leading human capital consultancy, is looking for a Talent Acquisition Associate to join its Dar es Salaam office. This full‑time, on‑site position will manage end‑to‑end recruitment activities for a variety of client organisations across Tanzania.

Key responsibilities

• Source, screen and shortlist candidates for open positions.
• Coordinate and conduct interviews, ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define role requirements and develop accurate job descriptions.
• Maintain and update recruitment pipelines and candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
• Communicate regularly with candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
• Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes and contribute to employer branding initiatives.
• Assist with onboarding coordination when required.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in HR consulting, talent acquisition or a related field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a professional office environment while maintaining confidentiality.
• A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related discipline is an advantage.
