Systems Engineer – Cybersecurity (L1)

About the role

NTT DATA is seeking a Systems Engineer specialized in Cybersecurity (Level 1) to join its on‑site team. The role involves delivering security solutions, supporting clients, and ensuring the optimal performance of security infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Own project deployments, collaborating closely with project managers and clients.
• Interact with clients on‑site and remotely to meet complex solution requirements.
• Respond to escalated client requests and manage case closure with OEM support.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Assist clients in optimizing existing security infrastructure and exploring new solution areas.
• Perform any additional tasks related to security project delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Computing, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in network security project implementation.
• Strong customer engagement and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and mentor team members.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude with a client‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Implementation and support of Next Generation Firewalls.
• Network Access Control (NAC) deployment.
• Web Application Firewall (WAF) implementation.
• Experience with Web Security, Email Security, Secure Service Edge (SSE), VPN, and Endpoint Security solutions.
• Knowledge of security architecture and monitoring/management tools.
• Familiarity with Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, and F5 platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as AZ‑500, SC‑200, Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM (preferred).
