Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end flow of parts and materials, ensuring they are available on time and at the lowest possible cost. You will translate demand forecasts into actionable supply plans, coordinate with local and international suppliers, and support the Parts Manager in maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Convert short‑ and medium‑term demand forecasts into supply plans and communicate them to the Parts Manager.
• Maintain and monitor purchase orders, providing weekly updates to international suppliers.
• Handle freight‑carrier contracts, shipment tracking, and logistics for both domestic and international shipments.
• Create and receive purchase orders using the ERP system and reconcile supply inventories.
• Optimize warehouse space by forecasting stock requirements and developing capacity plans.
• Negotiate purchasing terms with local suppliers to achieve the best quality, price, and delivery conditions.
• Collaborate with the Accounts team to verify costs, resolve invoice discrepancies, and process returns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in supply planning, procurement, inventory control, or logistics.
• Proven ability to work with both local and international suppliers.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on cost efficiency and service continuity.
