Stock Controller

About the role

The Stock Controller will ensure compliance with East African Breweries' engineering stores processes, handling the full cycle from receipt of maintenance work orders to the preparation of requisitions and delivery receipt, while maintaining accurate inventory counts.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately complete and file all store documentation.
• Capture all transactions in the SAP system and post them promptly.
• Issue correct quality and quantity of materials to meet customer requirements.
• Participate in monthly and annual stock count routines and perform recounts for verification.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Track materials between delivery points and ensure timely collection of direct deliveries.
• Maintain FIFO handling, proper labeling, and secure storage locations.
• Ensure materials are protected, quarantined for return, and stored according to global standards.
• Support continuous improvement of store work instructions and run relevant control reports.

Required profile

• Experience in inventory or stock control within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems for inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate discrepancies.
• Understanding of FIFO, quarantine procedures, and good housekeeping practices.
