Sports Educator – Cricket, Hockey & Swimming

About the role

Burhani Schools Tanzania is looking for a passionate Sports Educator to lead Physical Education, focusing on cricket, hockey and swimming. The role involves developing students' technical abilities, fitness and sportsmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging PE lessons emphasizing cricket, hockey and swimming.
• Design training schedules, lesson plans and assessment tools.
• Prepare student teams for local and inter‑school competitions.
• Maintain discipline, safety and professionalism in all sporting activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues on departmental meetings and extracurricular planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of coaching or teaching experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Lifeguard, cricket/hockey coaching) preferred.
• Proficiency in English with strong communication and leadership abilities.
