Solutions Architect: Data Center Solutions

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a Solutions Architect focused on Data Center Solutions. In this role you will design and deliver scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient cloud and on‑premise infrastructure that meets customer business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and analyse customer requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Maintain a ready‑to‑use environment for hosting customer equipment and solutions.
• Lead the installation and implementation of customer equipment, ensuring seamless onboarding.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training for both customer and Vodafone sales teams.
• Identify innovative hosting and cloud offerings, scope projects with stakeholders, and drive colocation revenue growth.
• Support presales engagements, technical consulting, solution design, service activation, and ensure delivery within SLA timelines.

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems.
• A degree in Telecom Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in strategic planning, project management, sales or product development.
