Senior Technical Advisor – Reproductive Health & CECAP

About the role

The Senior Technical Advisor – RH/CECAP Services provides strategic and technical leadership for integrated reproductive health and cervical cancer prevention, screening, and treatment activities across EGPAF‑supported regions in Tanzania. The role coordinates planning, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement while fostering strong partnerships with government, implementing partners and sub‑grantees.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate integrated RH and CECAP activities, ensuring alignment with national policies and EGPAF’s strategic objectives.
• Represent EGPAF in national, zonal and regional stakeholder forums and technical working groups.
• Provide technical mentorship and supervision to EGPAF staff, government health teams, facilities and sub‑grantees.
• Support integration of cervical cancer services into HIV care clinics and promote routine screening for women on ART.
• Oversee data quality, supply readiness and quality‑improvement activities for RH and CECAP services.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Reproductive Health, Nursing, Midwifery, Medicine or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in reproductive health, adolescent health, cervical cancer prevention, HIV service integration or related public‑health programs.
• Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership, coordinating multi‑site programs and supporting government health systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with routine health information systems and data analysis tools.
