Senior Regional Business Development Executive

About the role

Dentons is seeking a Senior Regional Business Development Executive to support the Africa region’s client and market initiatives. Reporting to the Africa BD Lead and COO, you will drive firm‑wide campaigns, enhance brand visibility and coordinate key events across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery and tracking of the regional clients and markets plan.
• Assist with rollout of sector and key‑client programs across Africa.
• Increase internal and external brand awareness through regional marketing activities.
• Develop and maintain regional collateral such as brochures, web pages and leadership bios.
• Prepare and deliver Africa Region meetings, conventions and related logistics.
• Coordinate updates on regional and global social media platforms.
• Assist with annual directory and awards submissions (e.g., Chambers Africa, African Legal Awards).
• Support pan‑African pitches and proposals, gathering input from referral firms.
• Liaise with country BD leads to align on regional and global campaigns.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience in business development, marketing or communications, preferably within professional services or a legal environment.
• Strong written and organisational abilities; experience coordinating across multiple offices or jurisdictions.
• Excellent proficiency in English; French is a considerable advantage.
• Data‑driven mindset with a focus on accuracy, efficiency and process rigour.
• Team‑player who is approachable, reliable and meets deadlines.
