Senior Marketing Specialist

About the role

Bolt is looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist to drive demand for its mobility services in Tanzania. You will own the social and performance marketing strategy, work closely with the headquarters team, and help grow rider and driver engagement across all verticals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the social media strategy on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok for the Tanzanian market.
• Manage influencer partnerships, produce monthly performance reports and optimise campaigns.
• Launch and optimise lifecycle campaigns via email, push notifications and in‑app messaging for riders and drivers.
• Collaborate with HQ to localise performance ads and track communication results.
• Pitch, plan and execute high‑engagement brand partnerships and events.
• Create marketing collateral, measure engagement metrics and provide on‑site support during events.

Required profile

• Proven regional marketing experience in South or East Africa, preferably in consumer tech, mobility or food‑delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to build and nurture engaged communities on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience reporting on campaign performance.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
