Senior Manager – Right Fit Evidence (Education Scaling)

About the role

The Right‑Fit Evidence (RFE) Unit at IPA is looking for a Senior Manager to lead the strategic delivery of a multi‑country education scaling project funded by the FCDO. You will oversee advisory engagements, manage project finances, and contribute to RFE’s broader strategy while supervising a small team of advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for implementers, funders and government agencies, coordinating multiple project teams to meet evidence, learning and M&E needs.
• Lead design, content creation and delivery of the multi‑partner, multi‑country FCDO SCALE project, acting as the central project management function.
• Provide technical leadership for right‑fit Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) activities, ensuring research and data inform scaling decisions.
• Oversee MEL and research activities conducted through IPA country offices and external partners.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring high‑quality outputs are delivered on time and within budget.
• Contribute to new business development, proposal coordination and external relationship management.
• Support RFE thought leadership, product development and internal management systems.
• Supervise 2–3 Advisors, fostering professional development and well‑being.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (field not specified).
• Proven experience managing multi‑country projects and advisory teams.
• Strong background in education interventions, scaling pilots and evidence generation.
• Experience with budgeting, financial oversight and stakeholder coordination.
