Sales Officer – Insurance

About the role

The Sales Officer will drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, selling a range of insurance products, and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking and referrals.
• Promote and sell life, health and general insurance products to individuals and corporate clients.
• Conduct client needs assessments and propose suitable insurance solutions.
• Maintain frequent, professional communication with clients to build long‑term relationships.
• Negotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
• Follow up on leads, inquiries and renewals to ensure business continuity.
• Keep accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities and new insurance products.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Results‑oriented with a high level of initiative.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
