Sales & Marketing Specialist – Stationery (Tanzania)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales & Marketing Specialist to drive growth for a leading stationery distribution company in Tanzania. You will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and expand the company’s market presence across corporate, government, school, and wholesale segments.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across corporate, government, school, and wholesale markets.
• Approach and onboard corporate offices, government agencies, schools, and wholesale distributors.
• Conduct field sales activities, including travel for product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations.
• Secure high‑volume accounts and maintain long‑term relationships with key clients.
• Manage key accounts and serve as the primary contact for recurring bulk stationery orders.
• Build and maintain relationships with wholesale distributors and business partners.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets while expanding the customer base and brand footprint.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and other market developments.
• Prepare daily and weekly sales activity reports, forecasts, and client feedback updates.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of proven sales experience; experience in the stationery industry is a plus.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is advantageous.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Results‑driven with a track record of achieving challenging sales targets.
• Willingness and ability to travel across different regions of Tanzania.
• Fluency in Swahili and a good level of English.
