Sales Manager – Airline (Tanzania)

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the airline's commercial growth in Tanzania, focusing on passenger ticket sales and market expansion. You will work closely with travel agents, corporate clients, and the GSA Management Team to drive revenue and strengthen the airline’s presence.

Key responsibilities

• Drive passenger ticket sales, achieve monthly and annual revenue targets, and identify new business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and ticketing partners, providing support and updates on fares and promotions.
• Identify and nurture corporate travel accounts, offering tailored solutions and building long‑term partnerships.
• Support local marketing initiatives, represent the airline at industry events, and ensure smooth coordination between the airline, partners, and the local office.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in airline, aviation, or travel industry sales.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong network with travel agents, tour operators, and corporate travel managers in Tanzania.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the GSA Management Team and local operations.
