Sales Executive (M/F)

About the role

As a Sales Executive at Africa Global Logistics Tanzania, you will drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding services with existing accounts across our logistics and transport portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Analyse client supply chains and propose tailored logistics solutions covering freight forwarding, customs clearance, transport, warehousing and value‑adding services.
• Size opportunities, price competitively and secure gross margin targets.
• Report prospects and activities through the COMONE CRM system.
• Coordinate contractual negotiations with the legal department and lead implementation meetings with operational teams.
• Visit clients regularly, attend networking events and maintain strong relationships.
• Conduct quarterly reviews with existing customers, identify upsell opportunities and support invoicing and dispute resolution.
• Follow up with credit control on pending payments and perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Management, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience with a proven record of securing accounts.
• Professional training in customer service is preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of clearing and forwarding processes.
• Proficiency with Power BI for performance reporting.
