Sales Executive – Japanese Vehicle Imports

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Executive to promote and sell Japanese imported vehicles in Tanzania. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, while building lasting client relationships. You will work in a competitive automotive market, driving revenue growth through strategic sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities with individual buyers, car dealers, and corporate clients.
• Advise customers on vehicle options, pricing, financing, and import specifications.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
• Generate leads through walk‑ins, referrals, social media, and digital platforms.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to client needs.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor pricing, customer preferences, and emerging trends.
• Close sales deals and ensure proper documentation of agreements.
• Provide regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in automotive, import/export, or related trading sectors.
• Strong understanding of vehicle market dynamics in Tanzania is an advantage.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and results‑oriented personality.
