Sales Executive

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Sales Executive to generate new business and grow revenue for an interior design and fit‑out company in Dar es Salaam. The role involves prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting solutions and supporting the conversion of opportunities into projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and build a pipeline of qualified prospects.
• Conduct cold calling, site visits, networking and outreach to property owners, developers, architects, consultants and corporate clients.
• Understand client requirements, recommend suitable interior design and fit‑out solutions, and deliver presentations.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and follow‑up communications; negotiate commercial terms and assist in closing deals.
• Maintain regular contact with prospective and existing clients and monitor competitor activities and market trends.
• Identify upcoming construction, renovation, hospitality, retail and office projects.
• Record activities in CRM systems, prepare weekly sales reports and track opportunities through the pipeline.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce, Architecture, Interior Design, Real Estate or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales, business development or client‑facing experience.
• Experience in construction, real estate, interior design, furniture or hospitality is advantageous.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities; proven relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license; existing network in construction, real estate or hospitality is a plus.
