Sales Consultant – Safari & Kilimanjaro Tours

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Consultant to handle inbound enquiries generated through Google Ads and our website, turning interest into booked safari and Kilimanjaro experiences. The role combines client qualification, itinerary design, quoting and closing sales while supporting our operational team.

Key responsibilities

• Respond quickly and professionally to Google Ads and website enquiries via our CRM.
• Qualify client needs, budgets and expectations and create customized itineraries with accurate quotes.
• Follow up with prospects, negotiate terms and close bookings to meet monthly targets.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date CRM pipeline and hand over confirmed bookings to Operations.
• Track and report lead performance, response times and conversion rates.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in safari, DMC or tourism sales with a proven conversion record.
• Strong knowledge of Tanzania safari circuits and Kilimanjaro routes.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Kiswahili, with strong negotiation skills.
• Experience managing a sales pipeline in a CRM and ability to respond to enquiries, including occasional weekends.
• Experience with paid‑search leads and a second European language or tourism qualification is a plus.
