Sales and Marketing Specialist – Heavy Equipment

About the role

The Heavy Equipment Salesperson drives revenue by promoting and selling construction, mining and industrial machinery to businesses and contractors. You will combine technical expertise with strong relationship‑building skills to meet sales targets in a competitive market.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders and cranes.
• Identify potential customers, generate leads and build long‑term relationships.
• Conduct onsite product demonstrations and explain technical specifications.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Coordinate after‑sales support with service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities and customer needs.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Proven experience in heavy‑equipment or industrial sales.
• Strong technical understanding of machinery specifications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in field environments.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of construction and mining machinery.
• Proficiency with CRM software for managing client relationships.
