Sales and Marketing Manager (Content & Brand)

About the role

A client in the hospitality industry based in Dar es Salaam is looking for a creative, strategic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager (Content & Brand) to lead its digital marketing and brand positioning. The role covers integrated digital strategies, multimedia content, social media, lead generation and brand awareness, and includes recruitment marketing. It is a hands-on position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and optimise the digital marketing strategy to grow brand visibility, engagement and leads.
• Create, publish and manage digital content across platforms, keeping it consistent with the brand.
• Plan, coordinate, film and edit professional photo and video content.
• Manage social media: content calendars, scheduled posts, audience engagement and performance monitoring.
• Run paid ads on Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and LinkedIn, and report on results with analytics tools.
• Keep website content current and SEO-optimised, and run email campaigns to nurture leads.
• Support recruitment marketing with employer branding content and campaigns.
• Work with the sales team on marketing materials and campaigns, and ensure brand consistency across digital and offline channels.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
• 4-6 years of proven experience in digital marketing, content marketing, brand management or a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience creating written, visual, photo and video content, and managing social media and digital campaigns.
• Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, lifestyle or service sectors is an added advantage.
