Retail Training Facilitator

About the role

The Black Tux is seeking a Retail Training Facilitator to bring its training program to life across flagship showrooms and partner Nordstrom locations. You will work directly with store teams, delivering live sessions and on‑floor coaching to ensure consistent product knowledge, selling techniques, and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver in‑person and virtual training covering onboarding, product knowledge, styling, and client experience.
• Lead workshops, role‑plays, and floor coaching to build confidence in multi‑customer selling.
• Provide on‑the‑floor reinforcement during launches, new product introductions, and seasonal pushes.
• Partner with district and area managers to identify skill gaps and arrange retraining.
• Adapt and localize existing training materials for specific territories and locations.
• Create job aids, quick‑reference guides, and session decks that support the central curriculum.
• Collect and share field feedback with leadership to improve programs.
• Track attendance, completion rates, and post‑training performance; debrief store leadership and senior executives.
• Stay current on product launches, selling techniques, and service standards.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in training, facilitation, or a customer‑facing retail leadership role, preferably in premium or specialty retail.
• Willingness and ability to work daily on‑site at flagship showroom locations.
