Regional Trainer

About the role

The Regional Trainer will design, develop and deliver a comprehensive training programme for d.light’s sales and service teams across the region. The role focuses on improving performance, customer satisfaction and aligning training with d.light’s mission and core values.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular training needs analyses to identify cost‑effective solutions for sales and service centre teams.
• Collaborate with the National Training Manager and Regional Business Manager to set priorities and create a rolling 6‑month regional training calendar.
• Design, develop and produce training materials, manuals and documentation ensuring consistency and quality.
• Provide coaching and facilitate classroom‑based training programmes, including induction for new regional staff.
• Evaluate, review and update training tools to maximise impact.
• Work closely with Regional Business Managers to implement and assess training effectiveness.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing from a reputable university.
• Proven experience in designing, developing and delivering training programmes.
• Experience conducting training needs analyses.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, written and verbal communication skills in both Swahili and English.
• Strong relationship‑building abilities and a flexible, adaptable approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications – PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook.
