Regional Finance & Stock Operations Manager – East Africa

About the role

The Regional Finance & Stock Operations Manager will lead the end‑to‑end financial, stock movement and operational reporting processes for Johnvents’ East African operations. Based in Tanzania, the role coordinates finance and stock‑control activities across Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique and Uganda, ensuring accurate recording of purchases, receipts, transfers, shipments, cash and expenses.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor end‑to‑end stock movement across the region, track receipts, transfers, dispatches and maintain documentation such as Material Transfer Notes.
• Oversee purchase transactions, ensure timely preparation of Goods Received Notes, reconcile purchase orders, supplier invoices and stock received, and produce daily purchase reports.
• Prepare and circulate daily financial and operational reports including cash register, bank register, expenses, supplier advances, shipment and export reports.
• Maintain daily cash and bank registers for each location, reconcile balances regularly and investigate differences.
• Track supplier advances, monitor outstanding amounts, and coordinate with procurement and finance to settle advances.
• Produce daily shipment and export reports and support operational decision‑making with accurate information.
