Regional Clinical Services Coordinator – Morogoro

About the role

The Regional Clinical Services Coordinator provides technical leadership and coordination for HIV and TB services under the EpiC project in Tanzania. The role focuses on improving quality, coverage, and integration of services across police, prisons, and public health facilities in the Morogoro region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee technical implementation and quality of HTS, prevention, care, treatment, PMTCT/EID, TB, NCD, and cervical cancer screening services at supported sites.
• Lead, supervise, and coordinate regional technical activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives and national guidelines.
• Provide clinical mentorship, capacity building, and supportive supervision to health facility teams.
• Monitor program performance, analyze data, identify gaps, and guide corrective actions.
• Collaborate with regional health authorities, CHMTs, and other stakeholders to strengthen coordination and self‑reliance of HIV/TB services.

Required profile

• Degree in Medicine or related field with national registration; Master’s in Public Health is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in HIV/TB clinical services, including program implementation, mentorship, and quality improvement.
• Experience working with MOH, regional health teams, and donor‑funded programs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Fluency in English.
• Fluency in Kiswahili.
