About the role
The Regional Chef Trainer will lead culinary excellence across all &Beyond lodges in East Africa. You will design, update and train on menus, food styling, and service standards to ensure memorable guest experiences while supporting sustainability and local sourcing.
Key responsibilities
- Revise the 7‑day menu and special dietary menus for every lodge, aligning with the Food Styling Guide and approved recipes.
- Develop and deliver creative bush banqueting and food presentation training.
- Coach chefs on menu costing, kitchen controls, waste management and local procurement.
- Maintain and update styling guides, monitor food trends and advise on new guest‑delight concepts.
- Rotate through lodges to upgrade food quality, presentation and standards.
- Collaborate with camp managers, procurement, consultants and the Regional Training Team.
- Host annual Food Fundi Workshops and promote chef exchange programs.
Required profile
- Higher Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related hospitality qualification.
- Strong communication, organisational and lateral‑thinking abilities.
- Proactive, honest, integrity‑driven and committed to world‑class hospitality standards.
