Ramp Agent Level 1 – Seasonal

About the role

dnata Zanzibar is seeking enthusiastic, customer‑oriented individuals to join the ramp team on a fixed‑term seasonal basis. The role involves supporting ground handling operations while ensuring safety, hygiene and compliance with airline and airport standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform safety checks on pallet stops and handle ULDs and dollies in cargo breakdown areas.
• Carry out interior and exterior cleaning, deep‑cleaning, carpet shampooing, fumigation and oil‑spillage removal to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Disinfect cargo holds after live‑animal transport and assist with loading, off‑loading and segregation of dead‑load according to airline requirements.
• Support breakdown staff with cargo and mail handling, ensure proper stacking and restraint of loads, and assist with tow bar identification for push‑back/tow operations.

Required profile

• Strong English language skills.
• Driving licence is advantageous.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ULD handling, breakdown and build‑up procedures.
